What is the best way to fly to Rincon?

The airport in San Juan (SJU) has the most flights and carriers, it is a 2 1/2 hour drive from Rincon.  But there is an airport In            Aguadilla (BQN) serviced by Jet Blue, United and Spirit Air that is just a 30 minute drive from Rincon.

Do I need to Rent a  Car in Rincon?

There are some areas of Rincon where a car is not needed (specifically anywhere near the downtown), however Rincon is spread out with different types of beaches and tourist areas without much public transportation so a car is recommended.  All the major rental car companies are at both airports.

Is there public transportation in Puerto Rico/Rincon?

There is a public system of private vans that carry riders from town to town, called Publicos, not the most efficient way of traveling, but inexpensive.  Each town has stations and various stops.  The Rincon publico station is near the downtown plaza.  Rincon also has a shuttle bus service, however the schedule is erratic and stops are constantly changing, for more info, please contact the Municipality.

What currency is used in Puerto Rico?

The official currency in Puerto Rico is the US dollar.

I don't speak Spanish, is this going to be a problem?

While Spanish is the official language of Puerto Rico, most government and tourist areas have many English speaking personnel on staff.

When is the best time to come to Rincon?

The High Season in Rincon is December to April, coinciding with the cooler climate in the US, however Rincon is wonderful year round.  September and October are considered hurricane season, less visitors but also better deals.
